Tourist's of Prague
On Saturday everyone woke up around 12 in the afternoon because we were all sleep deprived. After taking awhile for everyone to get ready we finally got out the door and went to the Globe for breakfast which is a local bookstore and a restaurant as well. I got Cinnamon French Toast which was YUMMY and came with a little French flag. After lunch we walked on the Charles bridge which has a good view of Prague and we looked at little vendors selling different souvenirs. Once we crossed the Charles Bridge we went to the John Lennon wall which was AMAZING. It has graffiti all over it and anyone is allowed to write on the wall as long as you have something to write with. The week before Divya and Amy saw two people spray paint Love Love Love on the wall. We spent a lot of time there taking pictures and reading things people had written. Then we trudged up a hill to get to the Prague Castle which is the largest castle in Europe. It was beautiful and they have guards outside the castle that do not move like the ones in England. But people do not try to make them laugh or take pictures with them like they do in London. After the castle Mollie and Divya wanted to take us out of the castle a special way to see a great view of Prague. But it turned out that this weekend was a huge wine festival in Prague and that area was closed off for the wine festival. We were okay with that because it was only 100 crowns which is five dollars. With your ticket you got three tokens to get three different glasses of wine. There were about 15 vendors with many different wines and one of the white wines I tried was amazing while the red wine I had was awful it had an after taste of pepper which I did NAT like. Once we got our wine we lied down on the grass and took pictures and looked out over Prague. We stayed at the wine festival for an hour and then went to Bohemian Bagel again for dinner. I got the vegetarian chili again which was just as good as the day before. After dinner we came back to the apartment and hung out for while. We then went to Radost which is a bar/club that Rhianna a singer filmed her music video Please Don't Stop the Music at. It was a nice club and had cool decorations. The DJ played mostly American music which was nice and we danced on the dance floor a lot. The best thing about the night though was watching everyone else dance. People in Prague have a weird way of dancing but it was very entertaining. Another weird thing about the club was that there we men and women there who were in their 30s and 40s which was odd. After the club we got pizza which made it feel like we were in the US. Prague is an amazing city and I wish I could stay here longer!!
